Arul Niles has over 25 years of litigation experience in the Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, District Court and Local Court.

In private practice since 1998, Arul's experience spans transactional work, drafting and advising on commercial agreements including building contracts, IT contracts, shareholders agreements, pre-nuptial and financial agreements and franchise agreements.

Prior to 1998, Arul was employed by the Australian Government Solicitor's Office for 8 years as a Senior Solicitor and acted for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in matters under the Trade Practices Act and large contract disputes arising from contracts with the Department of Defence and other Commonwealth agencies. He has also prosecuted in criminal matters whilst employed as a Solictor by the Director of Public Prosecutions (NSW).

Andrew is a senior commercial lawyer having intially worked for Allen Allen and Hemsley (now Allens Arthur Robinsons) as a senior associate, and then for large corporations overseas (BHP).

His strength is advising on legal risk management and is a strategist for companies

considering a merger or joint venture.

Andrew is a consultant to the Firm in relation to complex corporate commercial matters.
